Breathwork

Your breath knows the way

What is Breathwork and how does it work?

You breathe around 25,000 times a day — mostly unconsciously.

Yet every breath influences how you feel, how you think, and how your nervous system responds.

Your breath reflects the patterns stored in your body. Many of these patterns arise as protective responses in stressful or emotionally challenging situations. In the short term, they help — but in the long term, they can affect your well-being and your nervous system.

This is exactly where Breathwork begins: through conscious, connected breathing, you move from the mind back into the body. Stored tension, emotions, and breathing patterns can become visible and gradually release. This creates more space, calm, and inner balance.

How Breathwork can support you

✓ regulate your nervous system and reduce stress
✓ release emotional blockages and stored tension
✓ feel more connected to your body and your emotions
✓ develop inner clarity, calm, and stability
✓ access your intuition and inner wisdom
✓ sleep more deeply and have more energy in daily life

In my sessions, I work with Facilitated Breath Repatterning (FBR) — a trauma-sensitive Breathwork method that combines breath with bodywork, music, and mindful guidance.

Each session is individual and tailored to your nervous system and your current needs.

The breath is one of the most powerful resources we have.
When we learn to work with it consciously, not only can our breathing change — often our entire inner experience can shift.

Structure of a Breathwork Session (2 hours)

Each session takes place in a calm and safe in-person space in Berlin Moabit

Check in (30 min)

We begin with a mini sound healing that supports you in arriving in the space and in your body.

Afterwards, we take time for a check-in to clarify your current topic and how you are feeling.

Breathwork Session (60 min)

Then the actual breathwork session begins.

For about 60 minutes, you breathe in a connected rhythm, accompanied by music, gentle touch, and bodywork.

Integration (30 min)

After the session, we consciously take time for integration and reflection.

You can gently notice, reflect on, and make sense of your experience.

Why I work with Breathwork

Breathwork opened a space for me that I could never have reached through the mind alone.

I experienced how powerful the breath can be when we truly listen to it. Because our breath is far more than an automatic process — it is the bridge to our nervous system and our subconscious. Through it, emotions, memories, and old patterns can become visible and release naturally.

That is exactly what touches me so deeply about Breathwork: it works at the root.
What has remained unprocessed — for example painful childhood experiences — is allowed to surface and be felt once more.

Our body longs for safety, and our soul longs for freedom.

For me, Breathwork is not simply a “tool,” but a path back to more connection, aliveness, and inner clarity.

  • If I had to choose one thing that made the biggest difference for my inner clarity and personal growth, it would clearly be FBR Breathwork.

The sessions with Recha enable real transformation. They help you release old patterns, integrate new perspectives, and experience more inner freedom and self-determination.

Recha combines a deep understanding of the nervous system, human psychology, and somatic work with an exceptionally sensitive and attuned presence. She holds space with empathy, safety, and clarity, creating a powerful container for inner change.

For me, FBR Breathwork has been rocket fuel for personal growth. Highly recommended.

  • I’ve been practicing breathwork with Recha for six months now, and the changes I feel are profound. Each two-hour session feels like a complete reset.

Recha uses her intuition to guide you exactly through what your soul needs on that particular day. I’ve learned to accept more of myself and to feel a level of connection within that I didn’t even know was possible.

She is an incredibly warm and compassionate person. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel more grounded, clear, and connected to themselves.

  • I chose to do coaching with Recha because I thought, “Maybe this will help me take the next step in my life.” I had been feeling somewhat stuck, especially when it came to my professional development.

With Recha’s guidance, I quickly found practical tools and exercises that opened a door for me to move forward in my career. The solutions we developed are highly actionable. What makes it truly special, though, is the process of getting there. Through simple, everyday practices, I was able to access new possibilities much faster than I expected.

I didn’t think coaching could be this effective. I would recommend this approach 100%, and in my experience, Recha is the perfect coach. She is empathetic, articulate, and someone who will hopefully help many more people discover their “superpower.

  • Working with Recha has been—and continues to be—an incredibly valuable and deeply transformative experience that still enriches my life today.

As a management consultant, systemic coach, and someone who has spent over a decade in therapy in the context of complex PTSD, I am very mindful about who I trust. With her, I felt safe, seen, and supported from the very first moment.

You can immediately tell that her work is not based on training alone, but on real, embodied experience. She holds space with a calm, clear presence that noticeably regulates the nervous system. There is no pressure, no artificial pushing—just a sensitive, respectful guidance on equal footing.

In sessions, Recha reads the breath with incredible precision while also staying intuitive. She knows exactly when an impulse is helpful and when space is needed. This combination of professionalism, expertise, and genuine attunement is truly exceptional.

What touched me most was the depth that was able to unfold—without drama, without force. Simply because there was safety. From that sense of safety, profound processes were initiated within me: moving from thinking into feeling, from tension into softness, from control into trust.

Recha’s work is trauma-informed, individualized, and rooted in deep respect for each personal story. Anyone seeking guidance that is professionally grounded while also caring, intuitive, and heartfelt is in exactly the right place with her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Recha as a breathwork coach.

  • I felt comfortable and truly supported by Recha from the very beginning. The coaching sessions always took place in a loving and appreciative atmosphere, where I was able to open up and reflect honestly.

What I especially valued was that the support didn’t stop with the sessions. Even in between, she stayed present – through small exercises that encouraged reflection, or voice notes that motivated and grounded me exactly when I needed it most.

Recha works with so much heart and has a deep ability to empathize. This made the coaching a truly enriching experience for me, one that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Questions about Breathwork

What is the difference between Breathwork and Pranayama?

“Pranayama” refers to the breathing techniques of yoga. They can have very powerful effects, but they consciously work with the mind in order to direct and control the breath in a certain way.

When I speak of Breathwork, I mean a connected breathing technique whose intention is to bring you out of the mind and into the body. The breath is allowed to flow more freely, so that your body and your nervous system can speak. This can also make unconscious processes and stored emotions accessible.

Can I practice Breathwork on my own?

I always recommend practicing Breathwork together with a trained practitioner.

Strong physical or emotional processes can arise during a session. Experienced guidance ensures that a safe space is held and that you are supported and stabilized throughout the entire experience.

Why can longer-term support be beneficial?

My approach gives your nervous system and your inner world time to integrate experiences in a sustainable way.

Even though some themes can move quickly, real and profound transformation usually unfolds gradually. That is why, after an introductory session, I usually recommend a package of 8 sessions so that your nervous system can slowly integrate new experiences and old patterns can transform sustainably.

Is Breathwork safe?

The way I offer Breathwork is trauma-sensitive and mindful.

I am trained to work with the nervous system and to read the signals of your body — even when intense emotional processes arise. This allows me to adapt the session at any time and guide you safely through the experience.

Within a competently held space, Breathwork can help revisit and integrate deep experiences or old imprints in a new way.

Is Breathwork suitable for me if I am currently in therapy or have experienced trauma?

Breathwork can be very supportive when working with past experiences or traumatic events.

Before the first session, we take time for an in-depth conversation about your current situation. This allows us to explore together whether and how Breathwork can support you safely and meaningfully.

Ongoing therapy is generally not an exclusion criterion, but it should be discussed openly beforehand so that we can shape the work mindfully and responsibly.

Are Breathwork sessions also offered online?

Because I work a lot with physical presence, bodywork, and the nervous system during the sessions, I offer Breathwork exclusively in person.

As the experiences can sometimes be very intense, it feels safer and more aligned for me to work together in the same space.

What happens if strong emotions arise during a session?

That is completely normal and can be part of the process.

The breath can help bring emotions or memories to the surface that are often suppressed or unconscious in everyday life. During the session, I accompany you mindfully and hold a safe space in which everything that wants to emerge is welcome.

You always set the pace. My role is to support you in moving safely through the experience and integrating it afterwards.

Do I need to do anything “right” during a Breathwork session? Do I need prior experience?

No. There is nothing to achieve and nothing to do perfectly. No prior experience is necessary.

I guide you gently through the session and keep reminding you to let your breath flow through you. The most important part is that you allow your body to feel and perceive whatever wants to reveal itself in that moment.
